my first time… EVER!!!!!
well, a while ago it was my first time ever in Dr. Christy’s office. i was totally freaking out. i mean, who wants braces right? but when my brother and i arrived, Dr. Christy made us feel right at home. yes, i need braces (darn), but i feel comfortable about getting them now. Dr. Christy told me what would be done to my teeth, and made me feel positive about the whole braces thing. now, i am not afraid to go to the orthodontist because i know that they won’t try to make me feel uncomfortable or hurt me. thank goodness for the one orthodontist that makes it enjoyable… Dr. Christy!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!

Dr. Christie rocks!
Hi! I have had braces for over a year now an it’s not nearly as bad as i thought it would be! I actually kind of like choosing the different colored bands for my braces every 6 weeks. Yeah, it does hurt after they’re tightened, but that goes away after a day or two. Dr. Christie always makes sure that nothing is hurting or poking my gums. And everyone there is really nice! Also I like that they always tell me my progress. Suprisingly I’m ahead of schedule and I’ll probably be getting my braces off next summer!

My retainer, braces, and everything in between
I have had braces already and they weren’t nearly as annoying as I thought they would be. But the best part for me is my retainer. There is a sheet with lists of patterns you can get, with a picture next to each! Who thought that you could get a retainer with the American flag on it? Well, the American flag is spiffy, but I chose cow print, ( my favorite pattern.) I’m pretty much famous for my retainer. No one else I know has ever had a patterned retainer, and Dr. Christy offers so many choices! Everyone loves to see my retainer, and in my dance class everyone is pretty much obsessed with it. Also, when I had braces, you could make every single brace a different color, and there were so many shades to choose from! If there was a holiday coming up you could get those colors, ( for example, Christmas, red and green,) or you could simply choose your favorites. There are even clear ones for those of you who don’t want your braces to be noticeable. Dr. Christie knows that even though you may have to have orthodontistry you don’t have to look bad. Even when I got my braces on, everyone was so considerate! They let me have the seat next to the TV and choose the channel I wanted. Even better, they told me everything to expect from my braces and all the Do’s and Don’ts. Dr. Christie even has a prize bowl where you enter your name when you have an appointment. If you win, you get a great prize such as movie tickets. Dr. Christie’s is a great place. And, if you decide to go there, if you recommend someone they give you Borders gift certificates. Hey, Dr. Christie! I’m expecting to get something out of this! Just kidding! So, all in all, Dr. Christie’s is a great place where everyone is really friendly and there are a lot of options. GO DR CHRISTIE!

last appointment
i recently went to Dr. Christie’s to get some testing done. they took a lot of pictures and x-rays. those were kind of cool when they came out though. i got a lot of metal trays put into my mouth, but they tasted pretty good with the raspberry and watermelon flavors. i have to say though, watermelon does taste a lot better because it doesn’t leave an aftertaste. i really hope i don’t have to have braces though. a retainer wouldn’t be too bad, but i do not want braces at all. cross your fingers for me!!!

Step Up
If you haven’t seen step up GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!! It is about an upper class dancer who becomes partners with a less wealthy (amazingly cute!!!!!!!!!!) hip-hop guy! It is sooooo good I’d see it again and again. I’ll warn you one part is really sad- but the ending is really good! So, if you haven’t already seen the greatest movie (next to rent) of the YEAR!! go se it. -if you’ve seen she’s the man (which is also good) you’d realize that channing tatum
is the main guy in both.
